Volunteer and Get Involved with St. Marcus
The focus of these volunteer opportunities are related directly to the St. Marcus "Unlock the Potential" Capital Campaign.
Time Events directly related to supporting the campus expansion:
Phase I Building Dedication and the Annual Benefit Gala – We can always use volunteers for events such as the Phase I Building Dedication (September 17th, 2011) and the Annual Benefit Gala (November 12th, 2011).
These events are made possible by generous volunteers who support St. Marcus School’s mission to provide quality, Christian education. Join this growing team! Share your talents and support the education of our school’s children. Not only will you play an important role, you’ll meet new friends and have fun! Volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to, being part of a committee team, marketing, multi-media, set up and tear down.

Treasure Your gift towards the "Unlock the Potential" capital campaign will ensure that students of St. Marcus and Milwaukee will be the future. Each gift to the Unlock the Potential campaign brings us a step closer to realizing this incredible goal of offering Christ-centered, exceptional academic education to more students.
Your gift will make a difference; impacting lives now and in the future.
Gifts of Cash: This is the simplest of all gifts and by writing a check to St. Marcus School, you are guaranteed the maximum tax deduction allowable under your tax status. St. Marcus is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.
Pledge and Payments: A pledge paid over a period of time allows you to make a larger gift that might not otherwise be possible.
Gifts of Bonds and Securities: These gifts offer you two tax-smart advantages – a charitable income tax deduction, and in most cases, an elimination or reduction of the capital gains tax.
Capital Asset Gifts: Capital asset gifts include tangible items such as real estate, insurance policies, or other items of value. The tax benefits of these types of gifts will depend on your particular circumstances.
Gift in Kind: If you own a business or possess skills that can assist in the expansion, you may be able to donate to St. Marcus and possibly benefit from tax advantages.
Naming Opportunities: Honor your family, friends, or others far into the future by naming one of the following:
- Classrooms
- Art Room
- Music Room
- Large Motor Skills Room
- School Entry/Lobby
- Library
- Performance Space
- Gallery
- Community Meeting Space
- Phase II Building
*Other opportunities available upon request
Together, let’s provide urban students and families with hope and opportunity - one step and one student at a time.
